State Police investigated a report of a suspicious person on August 31st in the early morning hours when kids were gathering to get on the school bus.
Reports say a woman reported an unknown man in a dark green Buick was sitting near her address and close to the Sigel Post Office. After her child got on the school bus, the woman approached the man and asked if he needed help with something. The man said he was working undercover for the police and then took off on Route 949 before turning onto Fisher Rd.
The man was described as white, mid-30s, deep voice and dark hair, wearing a dark t-shirt and jeans.
Authorities are asking the public to report any suspicious activity near bus stops, and anyone with information on this incident is asked to call 814-927-5253.
