A Brockway man is facing felony charges after Pennsylvania State Police said he failed to update his address as required under Megan’s Law after leaving a Jefferson County ministry facility.
ExploreJeffersonPa.com reports Authorities charged 48-year-old Tory Levon Godfrey with failure to verify his address and failure to register with state police after investigators learned he no longer lived at the “Just for Jesus” ministry along Route 28. Police said Godfrey, who is listed as a 10-year offender stemming from a 2009 indecent assault conviction, left the facility in March and did not report a new address within the required three-day period.
Court records show charges were filed May 20, and a preliminary hearing had not yet been scheduled.
