In District 9 softball quarterfinals, Elk County Catholic knocked off Port Allegany, 5-2, in Class 1A, Curwensville rolled past Otto-Eldred, 20-0 in three innings, and Keystone blanked Forest Area, 10-0 in five innings, in Class 2A play. In regular-season action, Keystone topped North Clarion, 14-4, in five innings, Reynolds swept Jamestown by scores of 7-4 and 13-9, and Clearfield edged DuBois, 14-13, in softball.
