An early morning fire in downtown Brookville damaged a vintage clothing store and the apartments above it, prompting an ongoing investigation by state officials.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the 200 block of Main Street shortly after 6:30 a.m. Sunday, where flames reportedly began above Pink Flamingos Vintage. Authorities said all occupants safely evacuated and no injuries were reported. The business noted significant water damage and said it will remain closed for the time being.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by a state police fire marshal.
