Two women are facing theft-related charges after police say they were caught on surveillance video stealing groceries during multiple visits to a Punxsutawney market.
Authorities allege that Alyssa Postlewait, 20, and Jadahna Shania Coleman, 23, concealed items in a backpack and left without paying for more than $100 worth of goods across three incidents in late March and April. ExploreJeffersonPa.Com is reporting, Postlewait later admitted to the thefts, citing a lack of money and employment, and identified Coleman as being involved in at least one case.
Both are scheduled for preliminary hearings on May 7.
