A residential fire in Jefferson County has been ruled accidental following an investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit.
According to state police, the blaze broke out around 12:27 p.m. on April 21, 2026, along Route 36 in Rose Township, damaging a home and prompting an inquiry into its origin. Authorities determined the fire was accidental, with damage estimated at about $10,000.
No injuries were reported.
