A motorist avoided injury after swerving to miss a deer and striking a guardrail in Perry Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash occurred April 3 on Number 8 Road when the driver, operating a Grumman LLV, encountered a deer entering the roadway while navigating a curve. Police said the vehicle hit a guardrail, causing minor damage, and its OnStar system automatically alerted emergency services.
The driver was not injured and was able to leave the scene in the vehicle.
