A vehicle crashed into the home of a fire chief in Clearfield County early Sunday morning, according to Morris Township Fire Company No. 1.
Officials said the chief and his family were awakened by a loud impact and shattering glass when the vehicle struck the residence. Emergency crews responded and safely removed the driver from the car. No further details on injuries were released, but authorities reported significant damage to the home.
