A 47-year-old Clearfield County 911 dispatcher, Jody Lynn Becker, has been charged with multiple offenses, including unlawful use of a computer and drug-related crimes, after authorities alleged she purchased controlled substances and shared confidential law enforcement information with others.
According to police, the investigation began when a parent reported suspicious messages on a phone given to a child, which led to evidence of drug transactions and communications involving Becker. Investigators said she later admitted to buying pills and was found to have accessed and distributed restricted data from law enforcement databases.
Becker was charged by summons and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 29.
