A Jefferson County man who stabbed another man in the neck during a roadside dispute last year was sentenced Friday to up to nearly two years in county jail.
WJAC News reports Noah Fremer, of Brockway, received a sentence of 11½ to 23½ months in prison followed by three years of probation in Centre County court. State police said the attack occurred after an argument at a pull-off near Black Moshannon State Park, where witnesses reported Fremer accused the victim of being a pedophile before a fight broke out.
The victim suffered near-fatal injuries and was hospitalized, and Fremer was ordered to pay restitution for the victim’s medical bills.
