A 35-year-old DuBois woman is facing multiple misdemeanor charges after police say she was found naked in public, yelling obscenities and threatening officers earlier this month.
According to DuBois City Police, officers responded Jan. 8 to a disturbance on Forest Avenue involving Amanda Stollenwerk, who was reportedly shouting at neighbors and passing vehicles. Police allege Stollenwerk threatened to retrieve a gun and resisted arrest before being taken into custody and transported to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
Stollenwerk is charged with terroristic threats, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct, and was later released on unsecured bail.
