A Parker man is facing multiple felony charges after police say he gave his brother’s name and date of birth while being booked into the Venango County Prison in an effort to avoid prosecution.
Court records allege 37-year-old Alan Matthew Palmer signed jail paperwork using his brother’s identity on Dec. 23, 2025, before admitting his true identity when deputies said they knew who he was.
Palmer was arraigned Jan. 15, bail was set at $15,000, and he remains jailed ahead of a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 21.
