Two Rimersburg residents are facing charges after police say they were found inside a housing authority apartment despite being banned from all authority properties.
According to Southern Clarion County Regional Police, Travis Carl Runyan, 34, and Amanda Michelle Mertzeis, 34, were discovered during a November 10 search warrant at an Atchison Way unit. Both had been issued written ban notices in August following a prior incident at a Chestnut Street complex.
They are each charged with defiant trespass, a third-degree misdemeanor, with hearings set for December 9.
