A DuBois man has been charged with misdemeanor indecent assault and harassment after allegedly groping a woman while intoxicated, according to The Punxsutawney Spirit.
Police say 36-year-old Christopher Lance Shumate admitted he “probably” touched the victim inappropriately after a witness reported telling him to stop.
Officers said Shumate later acknowledged to investigators that a friend told him he had been “being inappropriate,” and he ultimately indicated to police the area where he touched the victim.
