Gas prices continue to trend downward.
According to data compiled from AAA and GasBuddy, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline sits at approximately $3.04, while the state average for Pennsylvania is slightly higher at $3.22.
Within the region, Clarion County has the lowest average at about $3.11 per gallon, followed by Jefferson County at $3.13, Clearfield County at $3.20, and Indiana County averaging $3.39. This continues a recent trend of softening prices across the board for motorists.
