Not that you need one but, here’s a reminder of how dangerous tailgating can be, especially when the vehicle ahead slows or turns unexpectedly.
State police in DuBois say a two-vehicle crash occurred at 12:46 p.m. on October 3 along U.S. 322 at Shortcut Road in Union Township, Clearfield County. Troopers report that a 2017 Ford Transit driven by 56-year-old Larry R. Jarrett Jr. of Houtzdale struck the rear of a 2022 Ford Escape operated by 73-year-old Carol M. Galonis of Michigan, as she attempted to turn left.
Galonis and her passenger were taken to Penn Highlands DuBois for evaluation, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Police cited Jarrett for following too closely
