A rear-end collision in Washington Township on Tuesday, September 2, resulted in one injury.
According to DuBois-based State Police, the crash occurred around 3:10 p.m. on Route 219. A 17-year-old male from Brockway, failed to slow down and rear-ended a 2016 GMC that was stopped and waiting to turn left into the Welcome Home Center.
The driver of the GMC was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment. The teen driver and his two passengers were not injured.
Both vehicles suffered disabling damage and required towing from the scene.
