In a night of decisive victories across the District 9 girls volleyball circuit, several teams showcased their dominance with straight-set sweeps.
A-C Valley, Port Allegany, and Otto-Eldred delivered impressive 3-0 wins against Union, Bradford, and Northern Potter, respectively. Johnsonburg, DuBois, and Oswayo Valley also notched convincing victories, each defeating their opponents 3-0.
Meanwhile, a few contests proved to be far more competitive. Clearfield rallied to defeat Bellefonte in a gripping five-set match.
And Elk County Catholic earned a 3-1 victory over DuBois Central Catholic in a spirited contest.
