Today is the deadline day for Pennsylvanians who wish to vote in next month’s general election.
Thanks to some sweeping changes in recent years, you can register in a variety of ways.
There is an online form at pavoterservices.pa.gov.
You can mail a registration form to your county voter registration office … make sure it’s postmarked no later than October 9th.
You can also hand-deliver your form to your local voter registration office
Other ways to register to vote in Pennsylvania include your local PennDOT driver’s license location, such as the one at the Punxsy Plaza; and any of the following locations:
* State offices that provide public assistance and services to persons with disabilities
* Armed Forces Recruitment Centers
* County Clerk of Orphans’ Court offices, including each Marriage License Bureau
* Area Agencies on Aging
* Centers for Independent Living
* County Mental Health and Mental Retardation offices
* Student disability services offices of the State System of Higher Education
* Any state Education Department office of Special Education
* Any ADA Complementary Paratransit office.
You can check with the state voter services website if you are not sure whether or not your are registered to vote.
