Authorities say a one-vehicle crash damaged a utility pole on Airport Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County, on Tuesday, August 19.
According to DuBois-based troopers, 41-year-old Eric J. Powell of Brookville was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu southbound when his car went off the road, striking a utility pole and a tree around 4:44 p.m.
Powell, who police said was not wearing a seat belt, was uninjured. The vehicle was towed, and First Energy crews secured the pole. Local fire and EMS also assisted at the scene.
