Crews from the Houtzdale-Ramey Fire Company responded to a fire around 12:30 a.m. Saturday at Waylon’s Watering Hole on Walnut Street in Gulich Township, Clearfield County.
Firefighters encountered heavy flames upon arrival, with multiple departments from surrounding counties assisting in battling the blaze. In a Facebook post following the fire, the restaurant’s owners expressed sadness over the loss but gratitude for the emergency responders.
No injuries were reported, but the business will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
