A Curwensville man lost his life after being thrown from his vehicle in a crash late last month.
The incident occurred on Monday, April 28, at approximately 7:41 p.m… WTAJ News reports, PSP responded to a single-vehicle accident on Shawville Croft Highway, just north of Stiner Road. Authorities say 58-year-old Steven Wagner was driving south when his vehicle veered off the right side of the road. The car struck a log positioned off the roadway, causing it to overturn.
Police confirmed that Wagner was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and was ejected from the vehicle. He did not survive the crash.
