An anonymous gift of $25,000 has been given to the IUP proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine.
This brings the total donations for the proposed college to over $31 million. Once established, the college would generate an annual economic impact of more than $79 million. IUP has formally taken steps towards accreditation of the proposed college from the American Osteopathic Association’s Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation.
This is a three- to five-year process that involves submitting self-studies and a feasibility study, along with site visits.
