The Big Run Borough Council approved the extra liquid fuels money available from Jefferson County.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, the funding was based on PennDOT’s formula with a requirement to spend the money on roads in Big Run, which amounted to $3,447.06. The borough can now turn in previously paid street expenses to be reimbursed with this money.
