Jefferson County EMS hosted an open house and luncheon to celebrate EMS Week.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports, staffing shortages have been a long-standing issue, with the certification process becoming expensive. The Spirit adds the County Commissioners and municipal officials will work to solve the problem, which relies more on the municipalities’ solutions.
State Senators Cris Dush and Joe Pittman asked how they can help, and officials aim to provide an answer.
