A former Clarion Army recruiter has waived his preliminary hearing on felony theft charges alleging he misused more than $41,000 in Department of Defense funds.
According to ExploreClarion.Com, Court records show 34-year-old Caleb Nathaniel Natali of Youngstown, Ohio, formerly of Clarion, is charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and theft by failing to make required disposition of funds. Investigators with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office allege Natali made hundreds of unauthorized purchases and ATM withdrawals using a government travel card between 2021 and 2022.
The case has been bound over to Clarion County Court, and Natali remains free on unsecured bail.
