A 24-year-old Hummelstown woman suffered minor injuries after a three-vehicle crash involving two semi-trucks on Interstate 80 eastbound near DuBois on June 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said traffic had stopped because of a construction zone when a Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by a 68-year-old Las Vegas man struck the woman’s SUV from behind, pushing it into the rear of a stopped Kenworth semi-truck. The woman was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment, while both truck drivers were uninjured.
Police cited the Freightliner driver for following too closely.
