A late-night lane change on Interstate 80 in Clearfield County triggered a chain-reaction crash involving three commercial vehicles, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 11:10 p.m. June 19 on I-80 eastbound near mile marker 98.5 when a box truck attempted to merge from the right lane into the left lane and struck a tractor-trailer. The impact caused one semi-truck to swerve into another, involving a Freightliner tractor-trailer, an International Harvester semi, and a Hino box truck. No injuries were reported, and all three vehicles sustained minor damage.
Police said the box truck driver was cited in connection with the crash.
