Commissioners in Clearfield County say they found no evidence of problems during recent visits to the Moshannon Valley Processing Center.
WJAC News is reporting, Commissioners Tim Winters and John Sobel said they observed no issues with food, health care or living conditions, and Winters plans another unannounced visit. The update comes after Commissioner Dave Glass said he and Department of Corrections officials were denied access because they did not provide 24 hours’ notice.
Residents urged the county to allow independent experts to participate in future inspections.
