District 9 baseball action Wednesday featured wins by Redbank Valley Bulldogs over Brockway Rovers 10-2 and Smethport topping Cameron County Raiders 8-4, while Punxsutawney blanked Johnsonburg 14-0.
In softball, Brockway edged Redbank Valley 11-10, Cameron County outslugged Smethport 20-18, and Punxsutawney defeated Indiana 14-6. In the KSAC championship game, Cranberry Berries captured the title with a 13-3, five-inning victory over Karns City Gremlins, while Central Mountain topped DuBois 14-5 in a game rescheduled from Tuesday.
