In District 9 softball, Cranberry dominated Central Clarion 17-2 in four innings, Northern Potter shut out Forest Area 10-0 in five innings, and Forest Area later slipped past Redbank Valley 12-11. A-C Valley/Union was leading Smethport 8-3 in the second inning when rain halted play, with confusion surrounding the official result, while Keystone vs. Elk County Catholic was postponed. Tournament play at Bellefonte saw Central Mountain defeat DuBois 6-3 before DuBois rebounded to beat Bellefonte 5-3, and Mercer claimed a 7-2 win over Redbank Valley.
