According to yesterday’s Punxsutawney Spirit, the Punxsy Borough Council has begun upgrading its council chambers with new furniture and improved acoustics to enhance communication and eventually allow live-streaming of meetings.
Council President Jessica Vrobel Smith said the previous furniture dated to the 1970s and the new layout will make discussions easier.
New carpeting is still planned, and internet access will be installed before live-streaming begins.
