A Clarion County man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after investigators say he fabricated stalking and harassment claims against a woman to end a relationship he no longer wanted.
Pennsylvania State Police charged Mark McKissick Dehner, 40, with offenses including intimidating a witness, and filing a false report, alleging he provided police with staged evidence and coached the woman to make the accusations appear real. Authorities say Dehner later admitted the woman was not stalking him and that he involved police because he was afraid to end the relationship himself.
Dehner was arraigned Wednesday, released on $50,000 unsecured bail, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing March 3.
