BOYS BASKETBALL (D9 & D9/10 Crossover)
Armstrong held off Karns City, 39-30, in the lone completed District 9 boys matchup Wednesday night, while several other contests were postponed due to weather. The scheduled D9/10 crossover game between A-C Valley and Cambridge Springs was also pushed back to Dec. 20.
GIRLS BASKETBALL (D9)
In District 9 girls action, St. Marys topped DuBois, 42-28, in a Central League Large School showdown. DuBois Central Catholic rolled past Johnsonburg, 46-14, in Small School play, and Elk County Catholic earned a 50-26 crossover win over Brockway. Multiple other league matchups were postponed.
