The accomplice in a 2019 Clearfield County bombing case is asking to delay his upcoming trial, citing the ongoing federal government shutdown.
According to WJAC News, Clint Addleman filed a motion to postpone his Dec. 2 jury selection, arguing his attorneys haven’t been paid for months and need more time to prepare. Addleman faces conspiracy and possession charges in connection to the East Market Street bombing that killed 34-year-old Shanna Carlson.
Prosecutors say Addleman could face life in prison if convicted.
