An Oil City woman is jailed after state police say she used fake movie prop money at a garage sale and stole a pickup truck the next day.
ExploreClarion.Com reports, 44-year-old Wendy Jean Mellring bought items with a counterfeit $100 bill marked “For Motion Picture Purposes” before allegedly taking a 2014 Ram truck from a local repair shop. Mellring faces felony theft and forgery charges and remains in the Clarion County Jail on $100,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 28.
