A Sligo man has been cited after a two-truck crash in Clearfield County on Friday afternoon.
PSP DuBois said 36-year-old Kegan L. Ransom was pulling a 2020 Peterbilt onto State Park Road from Moose Grade Road around 2:47 p.m. when his truck was struck in the rear by another southbound 2020 Peterbilt driven by 52-year-old Pete G. Penev of Cowlesville, N.Y.
Ransom was not injured, but Penev was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois with unspecified injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and Penev’s truck was towed.
Ransom was cited for a vehicle turning violation. Bennetts Valley EMS, AmServ DuSan Ltd., and fire crews from North Point and Penfield assisted at the scene.
