Two women in Clearfield County are facing charges after a dog was abandoned and later hit by a car in May.
State police say Sheanna Gagliardi, 28, ordered Casey Tennison, 21, to dump the dog along a road in Pine Township. The injured dog was rescued and taken to a State College animal hospital.
Investigators say Gagliardi later admitted to abandoning the dog. Both women face felony animal cruelty charges, with hearings set for September.
