A tire failure caused a commercial vehicle crash on I-80 westbound near mile marker 79.4 in Brookville Borough.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.com, around 9:07 a.m. on March 28, the front passenger tire of a 2014 Freightliner failed, causing the truck to swerve across lanes and hit the center median. The driver, Jimoh Tiamyu of Linden, New Jersey, was uninjured and wearing a seatbelt. The truck sustained disabling damage and required towing.
