A Pennsylvania woman has been charged with helping cover up her husband’s murder after her stepson fatally shot him.
ExploreJeffersonPa.com is reporting 54-year-old, Jennifer Kimberly faces charges of tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse following the death of her husband, 56-year-old, David Kimberly. Authorities say her son, Cody Weiland, shot David on September 23, 2024, and later moved the body to a remote area in Jefferson County. Jennifer initially claimed David had gone missing, but investigators later discovered his van hidden and repainted.
Police found Weiland in the family’s basement, where he confessed to the killing. Both Jennifer and Weiland remain in jail, with hearings scheduled this month.
