A man who was wanted on multiple warrants has been arrested in the county and Borough of Clearfield.
Police received a tip that 37 year old Jeffrey Bell was at an apartment complex on Nichols Street. Bell had outstanding arrest warrants from the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office and other local police departments. When officers arrived at the apartment, they tried to make contact with Bell through the front door. However, Bell opened a rear window and tried to exit through it, but officers were waiting outside.
Eventually, Bell went to the door and voluntarily opened it for the officers. He was then taken into custody without any further issues. Bell has been transported to jail to face the warrants against him.
