The Penguins are finalizing their roster ahead of the regular season opener against Washington tomorrow. The Pens placed an injured non-roster designation on goalie Tristan Jarry, who suffered a lower-body injury against Columbus last Friday in the preseason finale.
The status of two other Penguins is unknown for tomorrow night. Defenseman Brian Dumoulin was also injured in the Columbus game and has been skating on his own, but not practicing with the team. Forward Daniel Sprong is practicing, but wearing a non-contact jersey after suffering a knee injury last Wednesday against Buffalo.
The Penguins have thirteen forwards, eight defenseman, and two goalies heading into the opener.
