The Brookville Borough Council met Tuesday night.
During the session, Borough Council approved the sale of a pressure washer and Army Surplus Gas generator to the highest bidders. The bids were for equipment that was longer needed or used by the borough. Borough Manager Dana Schreckengost said the remaining items that were up for bid are still available.
Resolution 546-18, the Hazard Mitigation Plan, was approved by Jefferson County, and also approved by the council.
After a short executive session, the council approved the Personnel Committee’s recommendation on the hiring of a part time borough police officer as a replacement for another before adjourning.
The next council meeting is scheduled for October 2nd at 7 pm.
